Academic Attire

All graduates must order caps and gowns online at www.herffjones.com/college/holyfamily by Wednesday, March 14 deadline. A Graduation Fact Sheet has been mailed to all graduates explaining the procedure. Academic attire will not be available at the Kimmel Center. Online ordering is for the convenience of graduates and assures all graduates of proper fitting attire. If you have difficulty accessing the website or have questions about orders, contact the manager of the Bookstore at 267-341-3588.

Caps and gowns can be picked up in the Holy Family University Bookstore starting Thursday, April 19. The Bookstore is open Monday – Thursday from 9 am - 6 pm, and Friday from 9 am - 4 pm. Caps and gowns will be available during regular business hours throughout the semester. Caps and gowns will not be available at the Kimmel Center on May 19.

Attire Graduates should pick up attire as early as possible to assure proper fitting. Attire that does not fit may require re-ordering, which could take up to two weeks for delivery. Questions about caps and gowns should be addressed to the manager of the Bookstore at 267-341-3588.

All graduates participating in the commencement ceremony must wear full academic attire: cap with tassel, gown, and hood. Only honor cords and academic medals that are officially issued by the University are permissible. It is extremely important to pick up attire as soon as possible.

For the convenience of graduates from the Division of Extended Learning, the Bookstore management will distribute academic attire and sell diploma frames and other graduation items at Holy Family—Woodhaven on Thursday, April 19 from 5 - 7 pm.

The Bookstore will have special business hours during the week of May 14 to accommodate those students who have not picked up their cap, gown, and hood. Bookstore hours for the week of May 14 will be 9 am - 7 pm from Monday through Thursday.
