Provides a foundation of knowledge for students preparing to teach young children. Focuses on the history of early childhood Education, as well as current theories that impact students? knowledge of the development and Education of young children. Current issues related to the field of early childhood Education are explored. Field observations designed to assist students in relating theory to practice in the field of early childhood Education.
